Speaking the Truth to Create Change

There comes a moment in your life where you stop asking for permission and start telling the truth!
For me, that moment didn’t come easily.
It came after confusion, pressure, compliance, and being told things like, *“this is just how the industry works.”*
And for a breif moment… I believed that.
But just because something is normalized doesn’t mean it’s right.
And just because something is common doesn’t mean it should continue.
That awareness changed everything for me.

Why I’m Creating This Film
I’m currently developing a documentary called *A Thin Line Between Love and Affairs.*
This project is deeply personal.
It’s rooted in my lived experience navigating power dynamics, blurred boundaries, and the emotional reality of being placed in situations that didn’t always feel like a true choice even when they were presented as one.
This film isn’t about revenge.
It’s not about gossip.
It’s about truth.
It’s about exploring the space where consent becomes complicated, where power influences decisions, and where silence protects systems that need to be challenged.
And most importantly, it’s about creating space for other women to recognize their voice.
From Silence to Storytelling
For a long time, I kept things to myself.
Not because I didn’t have something to say
but because I know people don't listen.
Or if they would even understand.
Speaking out has been empowering.
Because I’ve realized something powerful:
**When one woman tells the truth, it gives others permission to do the same.**
A Major Step Forward
I’m incredibly proud to share that this project is now officially fiscally sponsored by Hire Survivors Hollywood! An organization dedicated to advocacy, safety, and supporting survivor-led storytelling in the entertainment industry.
What makes this partnership even more meaningful to me is that Hire Survivors was founded by Sarah Ann Masse, someone who has firsthand experience navigating the realities of speaking out in this industry.
There’s a level of compassion that comes from that lived experience and it’s something I deeply value as I bring this story to life.
It gives me a sense of alignment knowing this project is being supported by someone who truly understands what it means to find your voice and stand in it.
This isn’t just validation.
It’s a commitment to telling this story the right way.
Why This Story Matters
This film isn’t just about me.
It’s about:
* shifting narratives
* challenging harmful norms
* bringing awareness to experiences that are often dismissed or misunderstood
It’s about creating a space where truth is not minimized and where women are not made to feel alone in their experiences.
Art has the power to change perception.
And perception shapes culture.
That’s why this matters.
How You Can Be Part of This
Now that the project is fiscally sponsored, we’ve opened the door to begin raising funds to bring this film to life!
If this story resonates with you
if you believe in truth, accountability, and creating safer spaces
You can support the project directly on this website:
Even sharing this post means more than you know.
This Is Just the Beginning
I’m no longer shrinking my voice to fit into systems that were never designed to protect me.
I’m building something new.
Something honest.
Something intentional.
Something that creates change.
And if you’re reading this…
You’re already part of it.
With gratitude,
Tiffany Walker
